Windows 7 and SBS Shares
I have a problem that has me baffled here... I have a 2008 sbs domain with numerous XP and W7 Client's attached. They recently moved location and since the move, the W7 clients cannot access the shared drives on the domain. XP Clients work with no issue
at all. The W7 machines throw the following error up at me "Error:The Network path is no longer available". The can successfully run the log on scripts for the domain and download the print drivers from the server. The XP client's are using the same logon
scripts that the W7 machines are using. A user that is on the W7 machine can log onto a XP machine and all the share's work with no issues. This problem has been on going for about 3 weeks now. Also, the sbs server had a hardware failure not long after the
move, but we successfully recovered. It did however require a rebuild, but we had images take of the server a day before the failure, so the domains didn't change. We did have a SID issue but we did resolve that by removing the new sids... Any help would be
awesome. Thanks guys.
