When using windows XP, from any of the other station the permission seems to be working fine with the domain, but when using windows, 7, when downloading programs such as Java, or Active X control, it down loads the programs, but once starts running the program, I run in to permission problems, when there is no problem, when loging in from another work station with windows xp. Please advice what needs to be done in order to get windows 7 to work with Sever 2003 R2 domain?

Are there any entries in the Application or Security Event Logs on the Win 7 client? When you say your running into permission problems are you getting "Access Denied" when trying to install the software?
