Hi Can somebody out there advise me if it is possible to use a windows 2008 R2 standard 64bit OEM product key on a Windows 2003 R2 Standard OEM installtion? I have tried to enter the Windows 2008 product key into windows 2003 server , and Windows Activation application doesn't recognise the key. I have tried speaking with Windows Activation dept, and they don't have a clue. Instead they have given me a windows activation key for the windows 2003 product key that is in use on another server! Please help
