Windows 2008 scheduling
I have a job that need to run three times a day (6AM, 12PM, 6PM).I configured the job to run daily, on the advanced settings I chooses "Start at 6AM and repeat every 6 hours for a duration of 12hours).The job runs 4 times 6Am, 12PM, 6PM and 00:00AM. How can I make it so it doesnt run on 00:00AM ?

Hi,
You can create three individual task such as Task01, Task02, Task03, and then assign them the job you want to process. I perform this on my local computer, and they work properly.
Best regards,

Hi bishafr,From your description, what you have encountered seems to be a known issue of task scheduler on Windows Server 2008.The sympton in the following kb article is more like what you said. The value in the Next Run Time field in Task Scheduler is incorrect in Windows Vista and in Windows Server 2008http://support.microsoft.com/kb/950035Please View and request hotfix downloads from that KB to see if it can be helpful. Thanks and Regards,Scorprio
