in explorer can you open C to view the files? Try and it should say "you do not have permission to view, do you want to continue" - click yes I hope this information is useful.

instead of copy/ paste try to drag a file to a new folder on c. Maybe a txt file, not mpg. what happens? I hope this information is useful.
