Hi, Windows 2008 Terminal Server automatically restarts 2 times with following error. However, the automatic update check is disable in adobe acrobat. The process msiexec.exe has initiated the restart of computer XYZ on behalf of user NT AUTHORITY\SYSTEM for the following reason: No title for this reason could be found Reason Code: 0x80030002 Shutdown Type: restart Comment: The Windows Installer initiated a system restart to complete or continue the configuration of 'Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro'. Hi, have you removed the permission to update Adobe Acrobat manually to all your Terminal Server users ? If they are prompted to update probably someone do it. Choose Do not download or install updates automatically and click OK. i think that you can't remove permissione to update Adobe Acrobat manually but you can prevent your users from restart your server setting up users right "Shutdown the system" only for Adminitrators.
