PCIIDEX.SYS is related to PCI IDE Bus Driver Extension. I don't see a Microsoft hotfix for such problem. Please update all your firmwares/drivers and also security softwares and BIOS and check again. Also have a look to this thread: http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en/itprovistasp/thread/39ae3276-db81-46e3-9b7d-d52feb8581c9 If the problem persists contact Microsoft CSS. Hi, Please perform Mr X’s suggestion. If the issue continues, it is recommend that you contact Microsoft Customer Service and Support (CSS) via telephone so that a dedicated Support Professional can assist with your request. Because it seems to be system crash issue and we need to analyze the crash dump file to narrow down the root cause of the issue. However, it is not effective for us to debug the crash dump file here in the forum. Thanks for your understanding. To obtain the phone numbers for specific technology request please take a look at the web site listed below: http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=fh;EN-US;OfferProPhone#faq607 Hope the issue will be resolved soon. Best Regards, Vincent Hu
