Windows 2008 R2 restarting
i downloaded Windows 2008 R2 With SP1. i build a machine. from past 7 days this server restarting every one hour.

1. Provide more information, namely the event log errors and update logs. 2. Look into Task Manager or better look into Process Explorer (Sysinternals) and see if there is any increase of memory demand or CPU load. 3. Are there any applications, roles and features installed on the server? 4. Is it W2K2 R2 installation that is followed by SP1 installation or you used W2K8R2 with SP1 (integrated). What type of license is it?

Hi, Is the OS installed on a VM or on a physical machine? Does it keep restarting since you installed the OS? Please provide us more information as Milos asked. Also, any errors during the restart or when using the system?
