Windows 2008 R2 multi homed Network not working properly
Hello, I have a Windows 2008 R2 standard server with 4 NIC cards. 1 NIC card is connected to a domain. Other 3 NIC cards are connected to 3 separate networks. This server is intended as NMS system to monitor several switches connected in 3 NIC Cards. I am having the problem of PING and Telent drop randomly in all three networks except one connected to domain. I am having only switches in these networks. Currently NLA is disabled in all 3 networks. If I disable ANY network connections and re-enable the network, PING will work for an IP which I am having problem, but some other IP will stop working. I am having some 50 switches and facing the problem in 4-5 switches regularly. PING and Telent are not working randomly i.e. sometimes I cant PING but I am able to Telent the system and some other times I cant Telnet but I can PING the switch. Every time I disable/enable the network, problem will propagate to some other switch. Firewall OFF Anti-virus None Do anybody have any idea why Win 2K8 server is working so weirdly! How can I fix this issue?

Hi, Thanks for posting here. The addresses we bound for each these three NIC are in same subnet ? could you show us the route table form this host here ? Could we enable NLA on this server and set a proper firewall profile for each NIC that connected ? and please also enable the ICMP exception for the firewall profile we are going to bind for the NICs.
