Windows 2008 R2 Service Pack Installation
Hi everyone, I would like to know the required Windows services that are required to sun the installation of Service Pack 1 for Windows 2008 R2 successfully. I know this is a strange question but in a heterogeneous environment I need to ensure that I don't shut a service that is required for the updates...

Hello, Windows Update is required. Hi We can install Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 through Windows Update by turning on the Automatic Updates feature. Also we can manually download its installation file from the website below and install it. Windows 7 and Windows Server 2008 R2 Service Pack 1 (KB976932) http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=5842 Regards KevinTechNet Community Support
