Windows 2008 R2 Service Pack Installation

I would like to know the required Windows services that are required to sun the installation of Service Pack 1 for Windows 2008 R2 successfully. I know this is a strange question but in a heterogeneous
environment I need to ensure that I don't shut a service that is required for the updates...

Hello,
Windows Update is required. And if some others are required that are not started you'll have an error message.Best regards
