Hi guys, today i did some updates on my exchange server, it froze, forcing me to restart, then when it came back, i got to Falure configuring updates and it just stays there, ive tried last known good config and safe mode but cant get past that screen.

Please run the system update readiness tool.

Then post the contents of;
%SYSTEMROOT%\Logs\CBS\CheckSUR.log

 

 

 

well the problem is i ccan't get back into windows, its just stuck at that screen, i'm trying to figure out how to get past it.

You can remove the file C:\windows\winsxs\pending.xml. After booting into the system.
