I downloaded Windows 2008 R2 through DreamSpark (www.dreamspark.com) and I activated it with the key I received on the website. I'd like to transfer my installation to a new server, however, and I was wondering how I can deactivate my current install. All the websites I search for refer to the Multiple Activation Key, which I understand there is a hotline for, but I'm not a corporate customer and I'm sure that my current key is for one server only (in fact, I tried to use the same key twice and it doesn't work.) Certain Microsoft software on DreamSpark must be activated with the associated single-use license keys (activation keys) to use the software. These license keys are single-use, single activation. Once a single-use license key has been used to activate the downloaded software, the same key cannot be used again.
