We tried to start the Server Service on windows 2008 R2 but it wont start error: 2. While we check the service dependency we are unable to see the "SMB 1 xxx Driver" instead it is having name SRV.

so how to restore the service back to the original state please let us know.

I have tried those steps in the link which is provided but still problem remains the same.

Here i suspect that original SRV Dependency service might have been deleted and created the customized SRV service that is why it is showing the in the service list. now we have deleted the SRV service and tried the below command to revert the Dependency service for Server service :

sc config lanmanserver depend= SeramSS/Srv

but now it is giving "error 1075 .........Marked as delete". now again we tried to import the SRV dependacy service registry from the working server and SMB1.xxx driver dependency was showing under the Server service but again server service is not starting.

we used the server manager tool to check the status of dependency service and found shvnet and srv2 service were stopped and not starting.
