Windows 2008 Domain Controller DCDIAG error
I put a new 2008 domain controller in a recently upgraded to 2008 domain from 2003 domain. When I run DCDiag I get the following error. Starting test: NCSecDesc Error NT AUTHORITY\ENTERPRISE DOMAIN CONTROLLERS doesn't have Replicating Directory Changes In Filtered Set access rights for the naming context: DC=ForestDnsZones,DC=domain,DC=com Error NT AUTHORITY\ENTERPRISE DOMAIN CONTROLLERS doesn't have Replicating Directory Changes In Filtered Set access rights for the naming context: DC=DomainDnsZones,DC=domain,DC=com ......................... servername failed test NCSecDesc How is this error fixed? Hello, if you are planning to add RODCs then run adprep /rodcprep to prepare your AD environment for such add. After running it, the error will disappear.
