Windows 2008 & CA server
I have 1 x 2008 server and 8 windows 7 client pc's. Server runs dhcp & DNS very simple setup. Server used only for file sharing and dhcp & dns services.
Keep getting kerberous errors eventid 19 about cert errors. Server does not have CA server installed as its not needed. uses very simple AD setup all users in 1 group all pc's in 1 group. only has 4 login accounts as 1 account used by several
users sometimes at the same time, very very small setup. previous server was sbs2003 with similar setup as the new 2008 server. Problems occuring with connection to internet and sometimes to the server. I have run best practise analyser
on all roles and no errors are showing up apart from 1 tto do with time on the AD for a reliable time source, I have set the local domain to be the time source. Only errors showing on the pc's are dns connection issues, nothing in DNS log apart from
5501 errors which MS say is normal operation.
Could thkerberous cert issue be causing these issues ?
the error does not happen every time the intermittent connection error occurs
as said all roles have been checked against best practice and show no issues that could point to a real cause.
dns set to primary server = dns server ip & secondary to 127.0.0.1 both ping as they should. Getting to my wits end on this one as its a customer site and they have very little it savvy and are getting a bit fed up of it failing, and when I get
here to look at it I can see no real cause to start to look at it.
Any ideas gratefully received

How is the connection to internet interrupted by this error? Is your DC acting as a gateway for the clients or is it just a DNS server?
