Windows 2008R2 guest drops connections and has difficulty uploading any data.
Setup: Windows 2008R2 SP1 Guest O/S VMWARE ESXI 4.1 u1 Intel 82574L Gigabit Onboard NIC Windows 2008R2 guest drops connections and has difficulty uploading any data. Attempted Speed test at speedtest.net and only download test works, with upload test failing 99% of the time and when it does work speed rates at .1 kbps. (on a 10Mbps up and down connection). Attempted other speed test sites as well; with the same problem. Windows 2003R2 Guest O/S works just fine.

Hi, I think you can try to disable TCP Offloading related features on Windows Server 2008 R2 and its NIC. Such as TCP Checksum Offloading, IPv4/IPv6 Checksum Offloading, TCP Chimney ... http://support.microsoft.com/kb/951037 Thanks, Timothy CHENGod Bless!

Hi WGPVictoria, We have the same issue and I wonder if you solved it ? Disabling AutoTuningLevel doesn't work for us. Thanks Alex
