Windows 2008R2 delegating control
Hello, is there any way how to delegate some daily tasks to people who are not members of Administrators group? I mean, we are planning to have around 100 W2008 R2 server and we want to delegate some tasks (creating share, creating printer) to ppl who will have access to this server via RDP. But not more, we dont wanna give them Administrators rights. We want have them as local users at best, with no further permissions. Any tips highly appreciated.

Hi Mekac, You may refer to the following article for delegation administrative task. Hi and thanks, delegating Printer permission works well, the user can add printer, can change port settings etc, but cannot change sharing options - not enough persmissions to do that. I need find a way (registry editing, settings some permissions somewhere, using gpo) to allow local user or security group to create shared folders, share printers ... I dont believe that ONLY administrators (or power users) is the only group who can create share folder object.. I am looking to workaround this problem ..
