Hi - when you say hang, is it it entirely unresponsive? If so it's likely a hardware problem. With regard to Exchange, etc.... how many DCs in your domain? How many global catalog servers? Lanwench [MVP - Exchange] ** Do not fold, spindle or mutilate. Fill in the box completely and erase any stray marks. Use only a #2 pencil.

Hi , We would require to analyze the cause of the unresponsiveness, for which you have the below options a) collect the appropriate dumps ( memory dump ) or Process dump ( if you are able to identify the process ) and analyze them for the RCb) Involve Microsoft PSS to successfully collect the dumps and analyze it for you . If you are aware of collecting the memory dumps and analzying them then you need to dwell down to the thread which might be the suspect or the function which is causing the problem.you would require to anlayze the parameter ( adv debugging ) or the stack back trace to check what functions were loaded during the hang. You can take complete memory dump as you are not aware of the particular process If particular process is known then you have different utilities such as ADPlus , UMDH etc..
