Windows 2003 Server hang
We are getting a strange hang on one of our Windows 2003 every 7 to 10 days, u know it when it happens cause you cannot remote desktop onto the server. You can logon to the server through the KVM, you can ping the server no problem and nslookup the server no problem. Nothing shows in the event log. Reboot the server and everything comes back to normal. Operational wise server just carries on as normal and only aware there is an issue due to cannot remote desktop. Have taken off the domain and rejoined, re-teamed NICs... Anyone else got any ideas?

Hello, which error message is shown when you try to login? Network problems can belong to DNS configuration, please post an unedited ipconfig /all from the problem machine and your domain DNS server, so we can exclude this first.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties, and confers no rights.

You don't get an error, the remote desktop connection box just goes gray once the server name is put in and stays like that.
