Windows 2003 Server R2 Certificate template issue.
Hi,I want to make a certificate template that will give me the option Type of Certificate Needed and from there I can select Client or server certificate. I created a duplicate certificate but it doesn't show me that option. Is there an additional step I need to add this option to my current Template? I have Windows 2003 Server R2ThanksScottSkier

Hi,
What do you mean by “select Client or server certificate”?
For your reference, I’ve included some articles about certificate template:

I mean when you do a http/localhost/certsrv you select
1. Request a Certificate
2. Advanced certificate Request
3. Create and submit request a request to this CA4. This takes you to your Certificate TemplateNow you select from the drop down box you select Certificate templateKey OptionsAdditional OptionsBut there is also a field called Type of Certificate Needed where there is a drom down box where you can select Client or Server Certificate.
How do I get this option added to my Certificate Template?
Thanks
