Windows 2003 SP3 Domain with Roaming Profiles - Really Odd issue
We have a windows 2003 domain with WXP with SP2 and SP3 with Roaming profiles set If we enable a user account to change there password next time they log on - they then get a default user profile. They actually all have a roaming profile. The user has to reboot the XP machine before they get their roaming profile. Any reason why this could be happening? It occurs on XP SP2 and SP3 machines....VERY bizzare Any steer?

I don't know the exact reason, but, sometimes on Microsoft Windows you should restart so that changes take affect without problems. Hello Jayuk76, This is a known issue. When you try to log on to a Windows XP SP3-based computer by using a roaming profile, the roaming profile cannot load. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/958058 Brent Hu,Please remember to click Mark as Answer on the post that helps you, and to click Unmark as Answer if a marked post does not actually answer your question.
