Windows 2003 R2 SP2 TS not permitting logon for single user
The setup is as follows, windows 2003 R2 SP2, quad core, 4Gb memory. For some time I am having a issue with a user not being able to RDP/RDC to the server, this is related only to one user, other can login with no issues. Error message the user is receiving : “The system cannot log you on due to the following error: Not enough resources are available to complete this operation. Please try again or consult your system administrator” My troubleshooting so far : - Deleted his profile from the server - Made the user try to login from a different workstation ( other users can logon from that workstation with no issues ) - Rebooted the server Don’t know how to go further in this issue and try to troubleshoot it. My last thoughts would be to delete his AD account an create a new one but that is a bit extreme and don’t want to go there. Any ideas would be appreciated !

Hello, does the server run in application mode or administration mode? If the latter only 2 remote and one local connection are allowed.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

It is in application mode, server users are using the server with no issues, i guess this is a account specific issue.
