Hello, no problem using Windows server 2008 member servers in the domain. Make sure that the new DHCP server is authorized in the domain as the older OS DHCP servers also. Do not forget that Windows server 2008 and higher OS have the firewall enabled by default.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

Will a Windows 2003 Domain Controller support a Windows 2008 member server configured to handle DHCP? Yes, no problem with that. Will I have to upgrade the Domain Controller to Windows 2008? No requires upgrade but upgrade is recommended. You have to authorize the DHCP server so that it can be used. That is all.
