Do I need to purchase XP in order to switch from 2000 to XP or is there somewhere that has a free download?

Windows XP licenses are not commercialized now so you can not purshase a new one. Search an old license if you want to upgrade. Windows XP and Windows 2000 are both out of support now. They are not free but you may not able to get a place to purchase. And if you need to install Windows XP, you will need to get an old license as Mr X said.Shaon Shan |TechNet Subscriber Support in forum |If you have any feedback on our support, please contact tngfb@microsoft.com
