Windows 2000 Server crash
Hi Experts, I have a Windows 2000 Server m/c. Suddenly, today it crashed. After this, when i try to reboot, it showns the following exception, dumps physical memory & reboots automatically ... !! \systemroot\system32\config\software or its log or alternate . its corrupt absent or not writtable.. Can you pl tell me how to fix this ?? Thanks & Regards, Ramesh.K.R.

Hello, Did you install any new software/hardware in your computer before the crash happens? If yes, try to login using safe mode feature and install this software and check your windows again. If no, try using Last Good known configuration feature, Start your computer -> before windows boot screen press F8 button -> you will get a set of options, choose Last Known Good Configuration (your most recent settings that worked), and then press ENTER.
