Four (4) repeat errors installing SQL server 2014 on Windows 10:

1.) Error installing SQL Server Data base Engine Services Instance Features. Invalid CI args., consult the windows installer SDK for "detailed" CI help error 1639  [reporting services - native]

2.) " " [DB engine services]

3.) " " [full test & semantic extractions for search]

4.) " " [SQL server replication]

I am attempting to eval. MSSQL on a windows 10, we have Access 2000 DB' and need to move to SQL server. The trial version w/advanced tools is the one I had 180 days to use. This is day 3 (08/19/2015). How do I get this stuff to load?!

SQL Server 2014 requires service pack 1 (SP1) to make it compatible with Windows 10 as explained on the following article:

You can use the Product Updates feature to update the SQL Server media you have with SP1 as explained on the following article:

Thanks and as soon as the windows 10 machine gets out of Toshiba' authorized repair facility, I'll check updates.
