Window server 2003 storage limits
Hi all, Is there any storage limits to attach HD to windows server 2003? I attach 7 partition of HD to the server, each varies from 500GB to 1TB. Is this ok? I kind of getting intermittent connection to this server. I got connection break to this server at least 3-5 times a day? is it because of the number of HD i attach to it. ps, i using vmware. Thanks becks

Hi, Please check the following links. http://technet.microsoft.com/en-us/library/cc773268(WS.10).aspx http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/hardware/gg463528 By the way, it seems that the issue you encountered is a network issue instead of a storage related issue. Best Regards, Vincent Hu

Hi, If a lot of servers accessing the storage simultaneously, the network adapter on the storage may works with heavy workload, you may need to consider develop balancing on the storage.
