I have just installed a TFS 2010 onto a new Windows 2008 Std server and in the process of configuring Sharepoint. When doing a search in Sharepoint, the following error appears: "Your search cannot be completed because this site is not assigned to an indexer. Contact your administrator for more information" I understand there are some steps required, including configuring the account associated with this service. However, as this service does not appear in the "Services on Server" in the Central Administration I cannot proceed any further. I have tried the following: - Running the service with a Local System Account - Running the service with a domain account In both cases, the service still does not appear in the Central Administration
