Is it possible to run Win 2008 on the Lenovo T410s laptop? Have problems with recognize the network card. The laptop/server shall only work as a call out gateway with no heavy work.

Hi, Have you tried to install Windows Server 2008 R2 SP1? By the way, as Meinolf mentioned, it is recommend that you contact Lenovo to check whether they have a compatible driver for the network adapter. Thanks, Lenovo doesn't say anything about WinServer for this model. I got the opsys installed from our "Server distribution center" and they had used a Win Serve 2008 "image" prepared for real servers. I try a plain WinServe 2008, if that doesn't work I have to order a real server. "Tried to save som money ...." End of contribution . Knut-Magne
