Win 2003 Authentication Used?
Hi all, In relation to this support article below im just wondering if anyone knows how to find out the method of authentication used on a Windows Server 2003 , any help would really be appreciated.. http://support.microsoft.com/kb/908573 Tadhg

Hi, you have to run IIS Manager, expand Web sites, right click on the proper site, choose properties, go on "Directory security" Tab, click on "Edit" button in section "Authentication and access control" and view what kind of authentication is enebled for your web site. Hi tadhg88, Thanks for posting here. Your question is not clear. There is not a “default authentication method” in windows server 2003 , the supported authentication methods and which method would be used firstly is depend on a particular service . For example ,Kerberos authentication is the default authenticate method that verify user or host identity in active directory service.
