WinSat in Server 2008 64 bit?
I had a strange request from a co-worker today for the windows experience index on this server 2008 64 bit box. For the life of me I can't find winsat. Idon't see anything related to windows system assessment tool in add features wizard. The wikipedia article seems to think Server 2008 should have it, is it just the 64 bit version that doesn't? Am I just missing something simple?

The Wikipedia article on the Windows System Assessment Tool is wrong on multiple points. This is one of them.

A quick look in both x64 and x86 versions of 2008 didn't turn up winsat either. Considering that Windows Server 2008 isa server operating system I think it's excluded since system administrators have more knowledge (hopefully) than the average home user.

Hi Jason, Wikipedia article on the Windows System Assessment Tool is not correct. As far as we known, the WinSAT is not a part of Windows Server 2008. Hope it helps.

That appears to refer to Vista, not Server 2008. Server 2008 was not released until Feb 2008. Winsat Updated: September 28, 2007 winsat assesses various features, capabilities, and attributes of a computer running WindowsVista.Bill

Where do we get the 64bit version of WinSat? From a Vista64? My Windows 2008 server only had WinSat for 32bit in the c:\windows\system32 folder.
