Wierd page file problem
Hallo, My server is Windows 2003 Std 64x Vmware Esx4 virtuel machine with 8 GB memory. D,E and F are connected thru iscisi, drives are accesible and working fine. What i want to achive is moving the page file from C: to D:. When i tried to move the page file to c: it gave me warnig that i should also have page file on c: needed for memory dump. So i added page file 9152 on D: and clicked on set C: was let unchangd at 3076. After rebooting the server the total page file for all drives remains at 3096. Changing the values in the registry also dosent help. Please help me to solve this problem. Thanks in anticipation.

Hi, As far as I know, iSCSI session work after the system boot properly. The following post discussed a similar issue, even if the environment is Hyper-V. Cannot move pagefile.sys http://social.technet.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/windowsserver2008r2virtualization/thread/5f2e9099-907d-4d84-8736-ed99f66f8328 Best Regards, Vincent Hu
