Why can't I switch to MAK activation?
I just did a vanilla install of WIN2K8 on a test box using the just released RTM version (x86 version standard edition)from Technet+ however since I need to activate using MAK I am unable to successfully change the product key to MAK from the default KMS.
The error I always get using the MAK key supplied with my subscription is: "Unable to validate product key...."
I have triple checked the key and made sure it was correct.
What am I doing wrong here?

Never mind, I need new glasses I kept enetering a "Y" instead of an "X" in one of the product key strings.
It is activated now.
