Can anyone send me a link to download SQL Server 2012 and 2014 slipstreams?
Slipstreaming is a process you would generally do yourself. You would pick the service packs and hotfixes you want rolled into the install and then install from that directory for many instances.
It may be possible to download an MSDN copy of SQL 2012 or 2014 with a SP preinstalled but those can't be used in production and you have to have an MSDN subscription.
Here is a link to SP1 for SQL 2014: http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=46694
Thanks Daniel, we have MSDN subscription here. Just trying to searching anyone prepared and posted a link on the forum?:-)
Can anyone send me a link to download SQL Server 2012 and 2014 slipstreams?
Wilson,
Adding to what Daniel said you cannot do slipsteaming of CU with RTM version. You an do slipstreaming of SP with RTM version.
If you are planning to slipsteam for 2012 dont use SP1 there are known issues use SP2.
You can eaisly slipstream SQl Server 2014 with 2014 Sp1.
If you have MSDN subscription you can easily download what you require.
Some links you must refer before proceeding with slipstream
