Where can i find....
Where/ how do i find the Product key for a windows 2000 Service pack, to reinstall the OS? I am formatting some old corrupted computers, and planning on rebooting them with old Windows 2000 OS's so that we can use them for basic computer services for our business. Before I format and erase everything, I wanted to make sure I had the apppropriate product key. Can i find the product key in the computer? If I can, how? If not, what is the alternative? My end goal is to clean these computers up so that they are not infected or corrupted with viruses or malware, and have them functioning on windows 200o OS for very basic computer services. Thank you very much for any help or advice on how to accomplish this.

To clean these computers, you can run an antivirus scan and then proceed by a repair operation for your operating system. Like that you will not have to lose your current installed documents. This is a link about how to repair the Microsoft Windows 2000 OS install: http://www.windowsreinstall.com/windows2000/Repair/ Best regards.

Hello, use the sticker on the machine or your license file when buying it from Microsoft. This will exist if that are legal licenses from Windows 2000. If you don't have them use the papers you have when buying them and call Microsoft support, maybe they can help you. All other options are ILLEGAL.Best regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.
