When will support for transactional replication be available?

In this video support for Azure Sql Database to be a transactional replication subscriber is discussed.

In the video is stated that this functionality will be available in Sql Server 2016. Does this mean that when Sql Server 2016 is released then Azure Sql Database will support this functionality?

Yes, one-way Transactional Replication from SQL Server to Azure SQL DB will be supported before EOY.

The required changes are in Azure SQL DB.

This will be supported with SQL Server 2016, 2014, and 2012.
