What should be configure first On Win Server 2008 R2 DNS or DHCP
Hi,
I am setting up DNS & DHCP both on same machine but I am confused what should I configure first DNS or DHCP.

It doesn't matter which one you configure first, but I always start with DNS and secondly DHCP.
Why? Must books are written that way :-)

Is it a DC?
Anyway, doesn’t matter. I would install DNS first.
Make sure DNS zone configured to replicate with all servers.

I would do DNS first. Fist off, it doesn't make sense to me to set up automatic IP assignments before you have the DNS structure set up. Plus, you should always set up Zones, ranges and exclusions and that is done after DNS is set up.
