What is the dataype for nvarchar(max) & varchar(max) in SSIS?
I am exporting a bunch of columns from SQL Server to Excel, using SSIS. Three of the columns wont convert, inthe dataviewer the values show up as <long text>. I have tried both text stream types (dt_text and ndt_text) and neither worked.
What else should I try?

Have the Excel file as template with the column to accept the long text set to memo and export

No template, creates a new file each time it runs. I found that if I set them to strings and enter a length, it worked. Except now all my rows are duplicated after the data conversion. Any idea why that is?
