Hello, I am planning to perform the Windows updates (only) through a proxy by setting the winhttp proxy. This works for me. However, I am not sure what other Windows applications/services depend on the winhttp. Because I expect the rest of the services to go through the normal route and want to know the implications of setting the winhttp proxy. I am using Exchange, DNS, Cluster in my domain. Can somebody please clarify me on this? Thanks.
