Web Server SNMP
What are the security implications of having SNMP on a web server?

Hi, Does your web server get published to the internet? How do you publish it? Is it in the DMZ network? If have the web server placed in the DMZ which is properly secured by the front-end firewall and the back-end firewall (if there is), I don't see any security implications of having SNMP on a web server. To achieve advanced security between the web server and the SNMP management server, you can deploy IPSec rules to encrypt the SNMP traffic between them and block any unauthorized SNMP request from other computers.
