WSUS 2.0 Updates Failing
Hello All,
I am working on WSUS 2.0 and I was not the one who installed or configured this, I was just dropped into it. Anyways, most things seem to be working okay, however; I am getting an error when I run the WSUS Client Diagnostic tool and that is as follows: (also updates are failing on some client machines and some not) any suggestions? Greatly apprectiated! Jay

Create a folder named "selfupdate" on the website running on port 80 and point it to the selfupdate-directory on your server. WSUS uses the website on port 80 to host the selfupdate-branch no matter what custom port you put your WSUS on.

That is already done and the error still arises. Any other thoughts?

Hi Jay,It seems that The WSUS Content Webfolder not pointing to the correct location.The best way to resolve this is to move WSUS to its own web site by running this command:c:\Program Files\Update Services\Tools\wsusutil usecustomwebsite true--------------------Regards,Eric Zhang
