WS08 R2 Std edition and cert templates
Hi,
Just need to confirm something: in the past in order to have AD integration and access to the latest certificate templates we required an enterprise edition of Windows.
As far as I remember that changed with windows 2008 r2? so now to get the same functionality we can deploy R2 Standard edition correct? so there is no value in deploying R2 enterprise edition and ADCS?
thank you

There is no value for the CA role. There still is value if you need to deploy the following role services:
- CEP
- CES
- NDES

Brian. CEP/CES are available on Standard SKU's. NDES and OCSP are available on Enterprise and Datacenter SKU's only.My weblog: http://en-us.sysadmins.lv
