Hi MumthazMuhsin, This is an interesting one that I have managed to troubleshoot in a couple of ways. This is silly but unfotunatly a commen issue, the client is possibly a Laptop now what happens is that the laptop had enough signal strengh to request the keys from the router at this point the battery lowers(as the WLAN is using more juice) the laptop does not then have enough battery life to complete the key exchange. *Or it thinks it doesnt* Go to the control panel of the client adjust the power saving setting, so It does not restrict power to your WLAN. You may now find you laptop will accosiate with the Router. Alternativly plug the laptop into the power and see if the key exchange works! Another possibility is that the laptop requests keys on one channel but does not recieve the keys, hops the channel and misses the authentication. This can happen for a number of reasons. Unfortunatly unknown to me. However upon troubleshooting I could see from on the router the Laptop had requested keys and the router had allocated an IP adress but no response from the laptop hence the "Dynamic key exchange did not succeed within configured time" To combat this I hardcoded the channel of the router for example sake lets say channel 6 and I did the same on the laptop. Suprise Suprise, latop has not malfunctioned since. I belive these issues are a mix of incompatibilies of routers, WLAN interfaces and operating system glitches. My exact troubleshooting procedure would be:- take a look at the router see if it is allocating IP addresses, if so which IPs refrence this with DHCP to see if you can locate the device. Upgrade all drivers. Plug in a power supply if the endpoint is a laptop Hardcode the channel you are using. I hope this helps and good luck troubleshooting. Kind Regards, Liam Kenneally
