WIndows SBS 2003 R2
Hello everyone, I got the following scenario, - Windows SBS 2003 R2 - Exchange 2003 - It has an Internal Website - Server has only one NIC with static ip 192.168.1.10 - Gateway 192.168.1.254 provided by ISP - Internal domain : mydom.local - External registered domain myexternal.com - Need LogMeIn for extrenal access to the server - Firewall active I can go to the Internet from the server, but i can't go to the internet from any workstation, I can ping the server and the gateway succesfully from any workstation but cant not ping any website, I think that i had some setting configured wrong i the server but not sure which they are any help, Thank you, System Analist

Hi,You'll have to check your DNS.Your SBS server is domain controller and has DNS installed. The Server TCP/IP configuration should point to it self as Primary DNS server (not the ISP). Then at your DNS Server configure your ISP's DNS servers as forwarders.All clients should have your domain controller's IP as primary DNS. Then all client (and server) requests will go to the local DNS server and if the local DNS server don't know the dns name then it will forward the request to the ISP's DNS.Jens Ole Kragh MCITP, MCTS, MCT http://jensolekragh.spaces.live.com/
