WINS
as we still have WINS servers on our network, and will for the foreseeable future. just wondering, not only what everyones thoughts on it are, and if it will stay arround for awhile....

It will most likely be around for a while, especially on networks that have applications that are NetBIOS dependent. Your first order of business is to ugrade any down-level clients (pre-Win2000) that depend on NetBIOS name resolution in a multi-segmented
network. The more you know about your networked applications' requirements, the more likely you'll be able to move away from this infrastructure.
