WINDOWS SERVER RES KIT 2008 BOOKS
Hello, I just purchased the Windows Server 2008 Res Kit from Amazon, but I am installing Windows Server 2008 R2.Did I just make a BIG mistake? Is Windows 2008 different than Windows 2008 R2 so the books I purchased are worthless?:-(Confused.

Hi Roy Tatsuo Sekine,Windows 2008 has both 32 and 64bit support but windows 2008 R2 is desinged specifically for 64 bit platforms. Yes there are major changes when compared to windows 2008 and r2 , and there are lot of enhancements made to the features compared to windows 2008 . Hello Roy,Sainath is correct. Windows 2008 R2 is adifferent version than Windows 2008.
