WHS 2011 can no longer connect to dashboard.
Hi, I have a Windows Home server 2011 and from yesterday I am no longer able to access the dashboard both from a W7 client and on the server via RDP or Console. This happend after file explorer crashed and I had to reboot it the hard way (power off button) Not only the console does not work. Also the website http://servername/connect gives an error on the page. I have searched for solutions and done the following: - Removed .Net frame work 4.0 and installed from scratch. - Removed any recent Windows updates. - Removed all plugins for WHS - Save mode dashboard also fails - Checked the certmgr for expired certificates. There was one but there was also a new one. - Cleaned the user settings from the profile for the dashboard Anyone an idea whats going on? I am getting the following from the logs: Event ID 1000 Faulting application name: Dashboard.exe, version: 6.1.8800.16395, time stamp: 0x4f0f3073 Faulting module name: KERNELBASE.dll, version: 6.1.7601.17651, time stamp: 0x4e21213c Exception code: 0xe0434352 Fault offset: 0x000000000000cacd Faulting process id: 0x21cc Faulting application start time: 0x01cd331d214de7ef Faulting application path: C:\Program Files\Windows Server\Bin\Dashboard.exe Faulting module path: C:\Windows\system32\KERNELBASE.dll Report Id: 5fc00506-9f10-11e1-a4e6-50e549c6b7be Eventid 1026 Application: Dashboard.exe Framework Version: v4.0.30319 Description: The process was terminated due to an unhandled exception.
