WDS on Server 2012: Driver Group Filter to Specific Hardware Model

I was pleasantly surprised to see the latest filtering options with WDS in Server 2012. However, whatever the reason, I am unable to get the Driver Group filters to work for hardware model. After some research, I found out that using the wdsutils that comes with the ADK will give you the hardware model name that you are supposed to use for the filter definition. However, if I populate a Model equals "OptiPlex 390", the Dell OptiPlex 390 will not receive those drivers during the windows set up process.

Is there a trick? Such as, I must use WinPE 4.0? I just thought about this when I was writing this question...I'm using WinPE 3.1 I believe from th

Hi,

Driver Group Filters start working in Windows Server 2008 R2. Please refer to this article to see if any parameter is set incorrectly:

Here is an example provided in this article:

Hardware filters:
Manufacturer | Equal to | Fabrikam, Inc.

Chassis Type | Not equal to | Laptop
