I was talking with a colleague of mine regarding WCF coding I had done recently to introduce the concept of Instance Pooling (for startup performance improvements) in a large application we have. The article I referenced can be found here: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms751482.aspx However my colleague indicated that that type of offering is available in Windows Process Activation Services (WAS). I have scoured the internet but cannot find any information on how one would go about configuring WAS for instance pooling… Can anyone provide a URL to such information, or does instance pooling in WAS simply not exist?
