The best way to proceed is to restore it from a backup that dates before its deletion (a system restore backup that had been performed before the deletion). You can also export the key from some other server in .reg format and import it in your server. This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights. Hello, the time reset can be achived with the following command line: net stop w32time w32tm /unregister w32tm /register net start w32time Then you can use the domain time if it is a domain member server: w32tm /config /syncfromflags:domhier /update After that you have to run: net stop w32time net start w32time More details about domain time: http://msmvps.com/blogs/mweber/archive/2010/06/27/time-configuration-in-a-windows-domain.aspxBest regards Meinolf Weber Disclaimer: This posting is provided "AS IS" with no warranties or guarantees , and confers no rights.

You saved me, brother. I am trying to reconfigure w32time to use an internal time source. I exported the config key, then reconfigured the value. After running the commands the w32tm key was emptied. I imported the whole key from another dc, then w32tm /register, and wala. I guess I will be more careful to export the ENTIRE key I am working with in the future. Thanks!field
